Lynsey Anderson

University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire

"Remember that everything happens for a reason, no matter how hard it is in the present. Focus on who YOU want to be and find what YOU are passionate about."

Lynsey graduated at the top of her class at Holmen High School in 2020, where she led in all facets as a Viking. She captained both the softball and volleyball teams and served as an Officer on the Student Leadership Team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and National Honors Society. Lynsey is passionate about her faith, family, service to others and future generations, and loves spending time outdoors. Now at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Lynsey is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Physical Education, Health Education, and Adaptive Physical Education while serving in leadership positions in the Aspiring Educators and SHAPE Club. Following graduation from Eau Claire, Lysney looks forward to finding a physical education or adaptive physical education role (specifically at Holmen High School), and intends to later pursue a graduate degree in adventure education and outdoors pursuits. Lynsey’s commitment to the Holmen community is strong and steadfast as she hopes to one day be an educator in the school district and continue to volunteer throughout the community. Her advice to future Holmen High School students is to focus on the present, find out what you are passionate about, be adventurous, and seek out opportunities to meet new people and travel to new places.
